1. A Church of Vision

Matt 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” 
Acts 26:19 “So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven.” Hope of Bangkok Church was planted, according to the vision from God, with the desire to fulfill the Great Commission by leading the love of God throughout the world, beginning by building biblical people to plant biblical churches, in Bangkok, in Thailand and around the world.

Hope Church has a vision of planting churches in every nation of the world by sending trained missionaries throughout the world to evangelize and plant Biblical churches as a part of fulfilling the Great Commission. Our vision is the central motivation behind everything we do. We should proclaim the vision that God has given to our church and press towards its fulfillment because God desires not only the salvation of the Thai, but every nations and tongues, receive salvation.

2. A Church of Biblical Teaching

Hope of Bangkok Church believes that the vision God has given us will be fulfilled by building biblical people to plant biblical churches. Therefore we see the importance of biblical teaching. We will have Expository Preaching of the Word of God continuously, with the determination to preach every scriptures, every passages, in every books of the Bible, So that the members can understand how to apply the principles from the Bible into everyday life.

Also Comprehensive Teaching, creating programs where various aspects of the whole Bible are taught, enables the church to meet the needs of the members effectively. Examples of this type of teaching include: Word for Life, Bible Study Program (Bible School), Family class, Singles class, ECT.

3. A Church of Prayer and Worship

Hope of Bangkok Church is a church that is prominent in prayer and in worship because the bible teaches that every Christian must have a life of prayer and worship. Therefore we make it a priority to teach and lay a firm foundation for the church members in the areas of prayer and worship in both the private and community life. We have special programs in the church to give members an opportunity to develop in the area of prayer as well as in worship such as Early Sunday morning prayer, Thursday night prayer, worship classes, ECT.

4. A Church of Discipleship and Leadership Training

To fulfill the vision that the Lord has given us, it is essential to see a large number of quality servants of God join together for the work, Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few” (Matt 9:37). Therefore the Church sees the significance of training people to be leaders so that they can lead the and train the next person, that is why we focus on developing and preparing quality, and biblical leaders, to prepare the members for the work of the ministry, according to Eph 4:12 , “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up”

The church has organized different programs to continue to build leaders at all levels, for example: the excellent care leader, the excellent unit leader, Bible Conference, or other seminars or Conferences, which are beneficial for the forming of leaders at every level from pastor to care leader.

5. A Church of Love and Fellowship

It’s the will of God for Christians to have love one to another, and love our neighbors as ourselves. Therefore Hope of Bangkok Church has the desire for its members to have love for every person especially for our brothers and sisters in Christ. As in Gal 6:10 “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” We teach and encourage every person to show love one to another, Forgive, Help, support, and share with each other though fellowship and spending time with each other.

The size the our church will not hinder the members from having unconditional love and commitment to each other because every member will have the opportunity for close fellowship, relationship, care, prayer, and learn from our differences to grow to the full maturity of Christ.

6. A Church of the Holy Spirit

At Hope of Bangkok Church we to the word of God regarding the Holy Spirit; we believe the Holy Spirit is God and is the Helper; we believe in relying on the Holy Spirit for every facet of the Church life, since the beginning. We believe the one way the Holy Spirit Helps and support us is through the gifts of the spirit. Rom. 12:5-6 “So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.”

We believe that the Fruit of the Spirit is the evidence of the change in our lives, and the results of the help of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Gal 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” We believe in being filled with the Spirit in everyday life of the believer, and believe that the church will be edified as we use the gifts of the Spirit completely.

Eph 4:16 “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”

7. A Church of Evangelism and Missions

In Matt 16:18 Jesus says, “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” And Jesus has commissioned Christians to share the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” 
Hope of Bangkok Church is seeks to have a part in expanding the kingdom of God through sharing the gospel, leading people to salvation and Planting Biblical churches, not only in Thailand but every country of the world.
